Mustard – Issue 97

Not often thought about as medicine, Mustard is an herb that has a long history of use as medicine. Used in many systems such as Ayurvedic medicine and Bach’s Flower Essences, Mustard has also earned a place on the shelf of kitchen herbalism.

Mustard is another great example of modern uses stemming from historical medicinal use – that bright yellow condiment we love to slather on hot dogs and hamburgers has long been used to stimulate digestion, yet another food with purpose!

This month we’ll explore the historical and modern uses of Mustard through games, stories and other activities.
