As late autumn approaches, our thoughts turn to cold weather and the holiday season. Walnut is a gem, offering medicine, food and plenty of craft ideas.

This month we’ll have lots of fun exploring these aspects of Black Walnut. Learn to make colorfast and lightfast ink, just like it was made centuries ago! You’ll also have fun creating some wrapping paper which can be used for holiday wrapping and make some buttons to make any ordinary article of clothing extra special.

Medicinally, you  will learn some simple remedies for dealing with shingles and chicken pox, fungi such as candida and ringworm and many parasites.

We rounded off our recipe page with a delicious saucy treat, sure to please every crowd.
