Kelp Hair Rinse
3 cups water
8″ dried Kelp, broken into pieces
2 teaspoons raw honey
4 drops rosemary, lavender or lemon essential oil
1 cup apple cider vinegar
Start by bringing the water to a boil on the stove. Have a grown-up help you with this step if you are not used to using the stove.
Add the Kelp, cover and remove from the heat. Allow to steep for 10 minutes.
Strain, add the honey stirring well and cool until warm.
Add the rosemary essential oil to the vinegar then mix with the Kelp tea.
Now it’s ready to use! Take it into the shower or bath and pour on as the final rinse, gently massaging in to your scalp. If you have long hair, you might try dipping the ends into the tea first then pouring it over your scalp to evenly distribute it. You can rinse it or leave it in. Dry and style your hair as normal.
