By late spring, early summer, Cleavers has grown to several feet tall, falling over when wind and rain push him around.

Small 4 petaled white flowers appear, followed by fruits that are two small spheres covered with sticky hairs.

The entire plant is sticky, with hairs that cling to anything it touches. Even the leaves are covered in the gripping hairs – which can be seen towards the end of this video.
